Rob Holub, J.D., MBA
I graduated from the University of New Haven in 2008 with dual degrees in Management of Sport Industries and Marketing & E-Commerce. Since graduating, I have also completed my MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of New Haven and also a Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University.
During my first year of college, I founded and served as president for the Sport Industries Club and worked in the Athletics department as a game operations staff member and Charlie the Charger mascot. I was also involved in the undergraduate student government and a student-athlete on both lacrosse and ice hockey teams. I was fortunate enough to garner All-American and All-Conference awards both academically and athletically on the lacrosse team and I am currently the team’s Head Coach. I am also an Adjunct Faculty in the Management of Sport Industries Department; teaching Development of American Sports and Major Policy Issues in Intercollegiate Athletics.
Before re-joining the University of New Haven family in the Summer of 2013, I had the opportunity to work in many positions for companies such as the National Hockey League, Arena at Harbor Yard, a pro-bono legal clinic, higher education institutions, and a private brand management firm.
I am originally from Long Island, New York and I chose the University of New Haven because I liked the hands-on experiential learning I was able to receive from day one. Small classes, experienced professors, and a tight-knit community all added to the many positive experiences I had during my time here. I am very eager to work with you and have your educational journey become as awesome as mine was.
