As a University of New Haven Marine Biology major, you will take classes and engage in hands-on field work, lab activities and research projects that provide you with the scientific background, critical thinking skills and technical skills that you need in order to understand and conduct research on the marine environment and the organisms that live in them. All Marine Biology majors conduct a year-long individual senior research thesis in their last year and may elect to study abroad in their junior year.
