Students enjoy opportunities for summer jobs and co-op placements with local industry. Graduates of the program have secured full-time positions with a wide variety of local and regional industries, including Johnson Controls, Geo Design, Parsons-Brinkerhoff, Wescott & Mapes, Goodkind & O'Dea, Haley & Aldrich, Fuss & O'Neill, Metcalf & Eddy, Wilbur Smith Associates, Maguire Group, Aqualogic, Connecticut DOT and DEP, EPA, Sterns & Wheler, Malcolm Pirnie, BVH Engineers, SEA Consultants, Pratt & Whitney, Solomat, UTC/Sikorsky Aircraft, Enthone, Bayer, HRP Associates, Cytec, Luchs and Spiegel, Zamecnik & Shah.
Civil engineering students are encouraged to continue their education and to become registered professional engineers. Alumni have chosen to pursue advanced degrees such as the M.S. in Environmental Engineering at UNH or at other top schools.
