Connecticut Post, September 14, 2011: William Tafoya, director of the master's program in national security at UNH, comments on the $4.5 million contract awarded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to a firm in Danbury manufacturing the RadSeeker, a hand-held radiation detector and identifier. Radseeker will be used for small-area search applications and secondary screening applications to detect and identify radiological and nuclear threats.
