USA Today, November 29, 2011: Game-based learning is becoming increasingly part of the college curriculum as a way to make learning more engaging. Both electronic and traditional methods are used - to help students grasp the psychological and economic impact of the Black Death, for example, UNH lecturer Matt Wranovix created a card game in which students left holding a Joker fall victim to the plague.
