Introducing a campus like no other, a new haven for business success.
It’s a campus with a corporate twist. The former headquarters of Hubbell Incorporated in Orange is now UNH’s go-to place for graduate business study. Located directly adjacent to the Wilbur Cross Parkway between exits 55 and 56, the campus’s all-business atmosphere, room to spread out, and distraction-free setting offer students some serious concentration time as well as a raft of amenities.
Purchase of the 70,000-square-foot facility on 47 acres in Orange, Conn., was underwritten by gifts from two prominent alumni who received advanced degrees from the College of Business – Charles Pompea ’71, ’90 EMBA and Samuel Bergami Jr. ’85 EMBA.
Beginning January 21, 2014, three of our programs will call the new campus home.
The Executive MBA program — a pioneer in providing executive education in the region for over 35 years — is designed for the experienced professional employed full-time in a managerial role. It offers one of the few integrated learning experiences for those looking to access the executive ranks in business. Real-world driven and theoretically grounded, the program integrates strategic thinking with a strong emphasis on global brand strategies and their implementation. Executive coaching is a major benefit of the program.
The MBA program is for both seasoned professionals and those with little-to-no business experience. Presented as a part-time program, it is built on a series of foundational courses in core business subjects like finance, marketing, and economics, followed by a series of advanced courses and a selection of electives or courses in a concentration area. This year, students can opt to start their degree by taking some of their foundational courses on-line and starting their on-ground experience in Orange.
The M.S. Sport Management is the oldest sports management program in the U.S. that has been continuously housed in a college of business. As a business-based program, it focuses on hard-core business skills, which can be applied to any potential career choice.
