Amandla! A Revolution in Four Part Harmony

You are cordially invited to attend “A Celebration of a Life: Nelson Mandela,” in the Theater in Dodds Hall, 6pm, Thursday March 6, 2014. The program features a screening of the Sundance Festival award-winning film, Amandla! A Revolution in Four-Part Harmony. Director Lee Hirsch will lead a discussion about the film. Noel Ginyard and the University of New Haven Gospel Choir, in conjunction with other area choirs, will perform songs from the film live. Mayors Ed O’Brien (West Haven) and Toni Harp (New Haven) will also be offering introductory remarks. The event will adjourn to a reception in the atrium and Seton Gallery. It promises to be a fun, high-energy event showcasing the University community and campus. On behalf of the many people working to make this a great event, we hope you can attend.
