Community of the Arts LLC

Community of ArtsDo you have a passion for theater, or the arts, or dance, or design? If so, then check out the Community of Arts (COA) Living and Learning Community, located in Bethel Hall.

The COA is a living learning community with a mission to create an environment for students to integrate their artistic passion and their studies with residential and cultural experiences. COA provides a creative incubator for students, faculty and staff from the visual and performing arts and design to interact outside of the classroom. Experience the rich cultural and arts opportunities on campus, in the New Haven area and in New York City. Meet successful professionals in a variety of artistic careers. Visit galleries, artist studios, theater productions, and other creative outlets and become immersed in the ins-and-outs of region’s art scene.

    What Does an LLC Advisor Do?

    The LLC Advisor serves as a mentor to the residents. The advisor works closely with the Resident Assistant to plan events and trips centered around the theme of the LLC. Advisors hold office hours inside the residence hall so they can work closely with their students.
