Room Selection Information for Current Students

Students who require modified housing due to a documented disability or medical condition may begin submitting new or renewal housing accommodation requests through the Accessibility Resources Center (ARC). 

Students with previously approved accommodations must complete the renewal process if they wish to receive accommodations for the 2027–2028 academic year. 

The deadline to complete the housing accommodation request or renewal process is February 19, 2027.

Housing Accommodation Request Process  

Important: Your housing application and deposit have separate deadlines. We encourage you to complete your application early to allow sufficient time for processing and payment. 

Your first step toward securing campus housing for the upcoming academic year is completing your housing application through the myHousing portal. 

You must complete your housing application before you can pay your $200 housing deposit. 

Once your application is submitted, allow up to 24 hours for it to process before your housing deposit becomes available for payment through ePay.

Students with approved accommodations will participate in a separate housing placement process before general room selection begins. 

Students who do not complete the accommodation request or renewal process by the deadline are not guaranteed that their accommodation can be met. Requests approved after the deadline will be considered based on available housing space. 

Housing Accommodation Information

This is the final deadline to complete your housing application for the 2027–2028 academic year to remain eligible for roommate matching and room selection. 

Your housing application must be submitted before you can pay your $200 housing deposit. Allow up to 24 hours for your application to process before the deposit becomes available in ePay. 

Students who do not complete their housing application by March 3 will be placed on the housing waitlist and will not be eligible to participate in roommate matching or room selection. 

Your $200 housing deposit must be paid through ePay by March 5 to maintain your eligibility for roommate matching and room selection. The housing deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

This is also the final deadline to complete roommate matching and finalize your roommate group through the myHousing portal. 

Important: All members of a roommate group must complete their housing application by March 3 and pay their housing deposit by March 5. Students who join a roommate group but do not pay their deposit by the deadline will be removed from the group and placed on the housing waitlist. They will not be eligible to participate in room selection. 

You do not need to create a roommate group to participate in room selection. Students who do not form a group may participate individually and select from available spaces during their assigned timeslot. 

Participating individually does not mean you will have access to single rooms. You will be selecting an available bed in a room, suite, or apartment, which may include other students. Single rooms are extremely limited and are not guaranteed. 

Students who do not complete their housing application by March 3 or pay their deposit by March 5 will be placed on the housing waitlist. They will not be eligible to participate in roommate matching or room selection. 

Roommate groups and preferences are subject to housing availability.

ePay

Students with approved housing accommodations will participate in a separate housing placement process before general room selection begins. 

The purpose of this process is to identify a housing assignment that meets your approved accommodations. An approved housing accommodation does not guarantee placement in your preferred building, room, or apartment. 

A limited number of housing spaces are made available for the accommodation placement process. Assignments will be determined based on your approved housing modifications, roommate group size, and available housing options. 

Your approved accommodations take priority over housing preferences. Depending on the accommodations and available spaces, it may not be possible to accommodate all roommate preferences or keep an entire roommate group together. 

Students who do not complete the housing accommodation request or renewal process by the February 19 deadline are not guaranteed that their accommodation can be met. Requests approved after the deadline will be considered based on available housing space.

Eligible students will receive their assigned room selection timeslot, which identifies when they can access the myHousing portal to select their room. 

Be sure to review your University email for your assigned timeslot and instructions for participating in room selection. 

Your timeslot determines when you may begin selecting from the housing options available to you.

The University will observe Spring Break during this period. 

We encourage students to review their assigned timeslots, confirm their roommate groups, and familiarize themselves with the room selection process before selection begins.

Eligible students will receive a reminder of their assigned room selection timeslot and instructions for accessing the myHousing portal. 

Review your timeslot and make sure you are prepared to participate in room selection. 

If you are part of a roommate group, confirm that all group members understand the selection process and are prepared for their assigned timeslot. 

It's time to select your room! 

Eligible students can log in to the myHousing portal during their assigned timeslot to review available housing options and select their room for the 2027–2028 academic year. 

Students participating in roommate groups should review available spaces carefully to identify housing options that can accommodate their group. 

Students participating individually may select from available spaces, which may include open beds in rooms, suites, or apartments with other students. 

Room availability changes throughout the selection process. Specific buildings, room types, and roommate preferences are not guaranteed.

myHousing portal

Students who did not complete their housing application by March 3 or pay their housing deposit by March 5 will be placed on the housing waitlist. 

Beginning April 1, Residential Life will start assigning students from the waitlist to available spaces following the completion of room selection. 

Assignments will be made based on available housing space. Students on the waitlist will not be able to select their own room or participate in roommate matching, and housing is not guaranteed.
