Full-time undergraduate students will automatically be enrolled in the UNH student health insurance plan unless they currently have and can show proof of existing coverage. If you have existing health insurance coverage and wish to waive the coverage offered by UNH, you must submit a waiver through the below website.
Please select the Online Waiver option from the menu at the top of the page.
All waivers must be received and processed no later than Friday, September 5, 2014. If a waiver is not received by this date, the student will be automatically enrolled in the UNH health insurance plan and will be responsible for paying the plan premium directly to UNH. The cost of this plan is $1,491.00.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Health insurance is charged annually to all full time undergraduate students and full time international graduate students. A waiver will need to be processed each year should you wish to waive coverage and remain eligible to do so. Once the waiver deadline has passed, you will not be able to waive coverage until the next academic year. You are responsible to waive your health insurance coverage each year and are responsible for the cost of the health insurance plan each year that you do not waive by the outlined deadline.
Full-time international graduate students (those students enrolled in 9 or more credits) will be automatically enrolled in the UNH student health insurance plan and charged $1,491.00. If you wish to waive this insurance, please visit the Bollinger website and follow the directions to waive your coverage. All waivers must be received and processed no later than Friday, September 5, 2014.
