Ways to Give

There are endless opportunities to support students at the University of New Haven. Opportunity most often begins for students through scholarships, which makes the dream of attending college attainable. Our Bright Futures Scholarship Fund and our Power Forward Scholarship Fund are two funds that have tremendous impact on our students who are facing financial need. Bright Futures provides support to any student with financial need, while the Power Forward Scholarship Fund support students who have exhausted their financial aid options and need assistance to remain in school. Gifts to our Annual Fund provide unrestricted funds to support the areas of greatest need.

Beyond scholarships, our goal is to provide access for students to participate in amazing experiences that bring greater understanding and perspective to their overall college experiences. From study abroad opportunities at our Prato campus, to study away at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, to participation in regional and global competitions and conferences across all disciplines, to the opportunity to participate in an unpaid internship through an internship stipend, our students benefit from the generous support of our alumni, friends, parents, faculty and staff who believe that experience is everything.

"The scholarships I sponsor provide me with the unique opportunity as a silent partner to invest in the success of future students enrolled in the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences. This small but significant act embodies the enormous sense of gratitude I feel for all the knowledge, experience, guidance, friendship, mentoring, and collegiality that propelled my professional life forward to its successful culmination. An indescribable and profound satisfaction resulted in large measure from my deep connection to the University of New Haven. I cannot imagine a better way to place my fingerprint on the future than by holding the door open for others who value the importance of seeking and learning the truth through diligent allegiance to rigorous science, due process principles, and the rule of law."
