About Chris

Prior to pursuing a career in academia, Dr. Friday had a distinguished career as a business partitioner with over twenty-five (25) years of experience applying project, program, and portfolio management best practices to implement strategic plans at numerous firms and in various industries. Dr. Friday held positions of increasing responsibility to include Director of Program Management, Vice President of Customer Relationship Management, Vice President of Professional Services and Chief Information Officer.

Dr. Friday possesses the professional certifications of Project Management Professional (PMP) and Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) as well as the Certified Governance Enterprise Information Technology (CGEIT) credentials.

Prior to joining the University of New Haven’s Pompea College of Business, Dr. Friday was adjunct faculty at the University of Connecticut, where he taught courses in the M.S. in Business Analytics and Project Management program.

Dr. Friday resides in North Stonington, CT with his wife, Beth, son Alex, and daughter Sophia.
