SOAR is designed to provide you with a seamless transition to the University community while connecting you with your fellow classmates and sharing valuable information. Please know we are committed to creating a vibrant and engaging SOAR experience for you and your classmates.
University shuttle to do pick-ups (back and forth) at the New Haven train station on Day 1 from 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and shuttling back and forth on Day 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pick up and drop off can be in front of Maxcy Hall.
COVID-19 Information

Students
Due to the overnight portion of SOAR and out of an abundance of caution, students who are not fully vaccinated, including a booster, if eligible, will be required to take a COVID-19 test provided by the University upon their arrival on campus.
Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 will need to reschedule for a future SOAR date. Both electronic or physical proof of required documentation will be accepted.
Family Members
- Family members who are not fully vaccinated (haven't received a booster) will be required to wear a mask.
- Family members who are not vaccinated will be required to provide proof of a COVID test performed within 72 hours prior to arriving on campus for SOAR. Proof of at-home tests are acceptable.

Masking
Masking indoors is optional. However, it is highly encouraged out of an abundance of caution.
