About Dayana
Dayana is originally from East Newark, NJ and graduated from the University of New Haven in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. As an undergraduate, she was involved in multiple student leadership positions. She served as a representative in student government for a Recognized Student Organization (RSO), became a Resident Assistant, Orientation Leader, Charger Ambassador, and participated as a fellow in our President's Public Service Fellowship.
Her experiences, as well as her connections with her peers, mentors, and colleagues, have left a significant impact on her throughout her time at UNew Haven. The support and number of resources the UNew Haven community offers assisted her in pursuing these opportunities and grow as a future professional. It is for these reasons that have encouraged her to continue working alongside the University and help represent what the University has to offer.
