About Hollis
Hollie is a Lecturer in the Interior Design Department of Art and Design. She has over fifteen years’ experience in professional residential interior and sustainable design, practicing in the Fairfield County area. She is registered to practice in Connecticut holding her NCIDQ qualification and committed to designing healthy interiors utilizing her sustainable certificate, LEED AP ID+C. For the years 2015-2017 she is consecutively the President Elect and President of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) Connecticut Chapter. She also serves on committees for the CT Green Building Council.
Hollie believes design education is critical in understanding the power of design to improve the human experience within the built environment. Research in issues of health, well-being and sustainability expand the meaning of design and provide vision to creatively solve complex design challenges from a humanistic perspective.
