About Sam

Sam is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who obtained their Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Haven. Imbued with a passion for helping others, Sam has vast experience with various populations, diverse communities, and clinical needs including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, life transitions, family dynamics, and trauma. She also has experience working in a residential setting with individuals in recovery for their eating disorders, which is her specialty. Their treatment approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community. Sam works with her clients in an eclectic manner, drawing upon her extensive training in diverse clinical settings and meeting her clients where they are in their therapeutic journey. Her goal is to provide each client with a safe space to cultivate self-reflection, self-love, honesty, and confidence. Laughter is a must, expression through art is encouraged, and trivia about video games is welcomed.
