UNH Chefs Join Locavore Culinary Challenge University of New Haven chefs participated
in the Locavore Culinary Challenge, a competition between chefs from four area colleges
using local ingredients. They prepared gourmet food selections like lobster grilled
cheese, homemade empanadas, kale mac and cheese and apple cider Twinkies. The challenge
was hosted by Fairfield University.
