Health Sciences Living Learning Community

Are you considering a career in the healthcare industry? Are you interested in learning more about human health, the U.S. healthcare system, or what makes people healthy? Do you want to meet health professionals and learn what they do on a daily basis or take tours of local healthcare facilities?

If so, then the Health Sciences Living Learning Community is for you. This LLC is open to all health-related majors, including but not limited to health sciences, paramedicine, dental hygiene, and nutrition & dietetics.

The Health Sciences LLC is for students who are interested in pursuing careers – or advanced education – in healthcare, including medicine, pharmaceutical science (or pharmacy), physical therapy, occupational therapy, dental hygiene, healthcare management, clinical research, or a wide variety of additional careers in the healthcare industry.

The Health Sciences LLC supports your academic experiences in many ways through organized study groups, discussions and tours of local healthcare organizations, field trips, and mentoring meetings in your residence hall. You will build connections with your classmates and special relationships with faculty and alumni who will be your mentors long beyond your time at the University of New Haven.
