The Office of Graduate and International Student Life (OGISL) is the primary resource for graduate and international students at the University of New Haven. The office provides personal support, including navigating campus life and adapting to student life in the United States. Orientation is hosted at the beginning of each term for new graduate and international students.
Now open to all students.
University of New Haven staff will be operating a welcome center out of the TWA Hotel, from January 8 - 11, 2023. A free shuttle service for you and your luggage will depart from the hotel multiple times a day. Further details on this program and eligibility can we obtained by contacting your admissions officer, or the Office of Graduate & International Student Life at OGISL@newhaven.edu.

If students have an arrival date to JFK not between January 8 - January 11, they may reserve a shared ride service for a cost to be paid on their own of $65 to our campus or $75 to the Hampton Inn in West Haven. One bag is included in this rate with $15 for each additional bag. This is at a discounted rate offered through University of New Haven and GO Airport Shuttle and is available from January 1, 2023 - January 24, 2023.

From January 2nd through January 31st, the University has secured a discounted rate for temporary housing at several hotels in the area for our new international students. You may find the rates and hotels listed below.
Any student who wishes to reserve a room can do so at the links below and is responsible for all charges. Students can stay a maximum of 3 nights.
